Tarology

 

The Tarot repulses or attracts, but certainly does not leave indifferent.

 

For some people the word itself cannot be pronounced without evoking lots of images of gypsies, witches, fortune-tellers, curses, magic spells and so forth.

 

For some others the tarot is a complex system of initiation to philosophical knowledge.

 

Since ever the Tarot has been the subject of a large literature and the object of numerous controversies.

 

Over decades, countless researches have been performed regarding the reasons of its creation, its uses, meanings and origins.

 

To answer those questions we have travelled back in time to ancient civilizations of all kinds.

 

Numerous hypotheses have been established to try to respond to these questions and yet no clear answers have ever been offered to this day.

 

The reel name of the cards is « arcana » which in Latin, means « mystery ».

 

The arcanas put together become sentences that are clearly sending messages, from past and present but capable to foretell what is coming.

 

Simply expressed, the Tarot is not just the succession of nice and colorful images but the Story of Mankind with his pains and successes, his learnings and experiences.

 

 

The Tarot exists and its strength cannot be denied
